This project covered two areas of work: a paved courtyard terrace to the rear of a property, and fencing, gate, bridge and pergola work in a garden with lawns, borders and mature planting.
A porcelain paved terrace was laid, with a stepped level change finished in charcoal edging. A brick and timber-clad storage bench was built into the step area. Full-height horizontal slatted timber screening was installed along the terrace boundary. A raised planted area with terracotta pots sits at the edge of the paving.
New picket fencing and a matching gate were installed around a lawn and border area. A timber footbridge with picket-style railings was rebuilt over a ditch, connecting two sections of the garden. The picket fence line continues along the boundary of the lawn.
Two timber arch pergolas with lattice trellis sides were installed, positioned near a garden store and along a planted border with roses.
